Touchscreen gaming has grown in leaps and bounds over the past few years, and now many serious gamers are choosing touchscreen devices over consoles or PCs. It’s important to use touchscreens to their full potential, though, which means taking measures to optimize your touchscreen device in several ways to enhance your gaming experience.

Here are five strategies you can use to optimize your touchscreen gaming experience, whether you are playing table games online, strategy games, or some logic games.

1. Stream the Game to Your TV

This is one of our favorite strategies because it’s easy to do, and you probably already have everything you need. All you need is a Smart TV or streaming device like Roku, Amazon Fire TV, Google Chromecast, or Apple TV. This will allow you to stream all your games from your phone on your large screen TV so you can see every little detail without squinting at the screen – it’s the perfect setting for playing mobile games!

Let’s face it; some touchscreen devices are just too small to enjoy certain games such as strategy or role-playing games. If you’re a fan of these types of games and have been waiting for a way to play them on your TV, now is your chance! Playing this kind of game on a big screen TV makes everything easier, from gameplay to seeing all those tiny details in your game world that you might not have noticed on a much smaller screen.

2. Try a Controller

Using a controller will make you more competitive in touchscreen games. The thumbstick on controllers allow for more precise movements, which can otherwise be very difficult when using a touchscreen. So, if you’re looking to up your game, try using a controller. You might be surprised at how much better you get! Having that extra level of control can give you a huge advantage over your opponents.

If you can’t get hold of a controller, you might like to make sure your phone is not too big to game comfortably. While a bigger screen will let you see more detail (as noted above), it can be difficult to hold when gaming. Having a huge screen isn’t as much of an advantage if you can’t hold onto it! Some phones are very wide, which makes them hard to control with just your thumbs. Try playing with two hands on bigger screens to make sure you can reach into the middle of the screen.

3. Ensure Your Wi-Fi is Fast Enough

If you’re going to be playing touchscreen games on your iPad or phone, make sure you have a fast enough Wi-Fi connection. Many people assume their home network is fast enough to handle streaming video but are surprised when they try to play a game. Make sure your Wi-Fi signal is strong throughout your house before launching a new game.

If you live in a busy household, you may also want to look into setting up a separate wireless router exclusively for your mobile gaming. This way, you’ll always have access to high-speed internet to play even the most demanding games and keep in touch with friends while playing – more on that below!

4. Connect With Friends Using Discord

Discord has many channels for different games, so gamers can join channels for their favorite games and find other people who enjoy playing those games. It’s incredibly easy to get started with Discord, too; just download it from the website or from Google Play or App Store and sign up for a free account.

After signing up, you can start adding channels from any games you want to join. Once in a channel, you can talk with your fellow gamers via text, share images or memes and coordinate your multiplayer matches. Users can even customize their Discord app’s appearance using plugins.

5. Consider a Back-up Battery

It’s a good idea to keep a portable charger or backup battery with you when you’re out and about, especially if you plan on gaming on your phone a lot. Gaming can use up more power than other activities like texting, which means you might find yourself unable to use your smartphone as much as you would like.

A power bank solves that problem. If you want to be able to play for more than an hour or two at a time, you need to make sure your phone has enough juice before you start playing, which is why having a power bank is such a great idea.
