Singapore (1 July 2024) – As the final episode of the Hashira Training arc from Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba airs today, Crunchyroll, THE ultimate home for anime sound the globe, has announced that it has acquired the highly anticipated Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, which will come exclusively to theatres globally as a full-on epic trilogy of films.

The trio of films will be distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment worldwide, excluding select Asian territories including Japan.

What We Know And What We Hope Will Be In The Trilogy

Though the release date has not been announced yet, we do know that the three-part cinematic movie represents the final arc and culmination of the hugely popular award-winning Shonen anime series.

Although Crunchyroll has stated that this trilogy represents the final arc and culmination of the groundbreaking anime series Demon Slayer, it is unsure if the movie would be adapting the entirety of the manga’s final arcs or if it will be similar to the Mugent Train Arc movie, where the anime will continue into the story after the movie.

Demon Slayer has been a phenomenal franchise, and we at Crunchyroll are delighted to have been a part of it from the beginning,” said Rahul Purini, President of Crunchyroll.

“Crunchyroll is thrilled to be able to bring this trilogy of films to fans, on the big screen, and it promises to be one of the truly epic and consequential pop cultural events of our time when it hits theatres.”

Some Recap & Background Information About Demon Slayer😎

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is based on the hit manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge published under SHUEISHA’s JUMP COMICS, which consists of 23 volumes and over 150 million copies in publication!

The franchise has won the admiration of millions of fans around the globe since its debut in 2018.

This epic story begins when Tanjiro Kamado, a boy whose family was killed by Kibitsuji Muzan, the foul demon, joins the Demon Slayer Corps in hopes of finding a cure to turn his demonised younger sister Nezuko back into the innocent young lady she once was and to end the demon threat by defeating Muzan.
