Faced with an enemy way above his level, Sung Jinwoo, known as “the world’s weakest hunter”, gains the unique ability to level up in strength while facing what he thought was certain death.

2. Jujutsu Kaisen 

Although not exclusive to Netflix, the Jujutsu Kaisen series is a must-watch. 

In this anime, monsters known as Curses, born of humans’ negative thoughts, terrorise human lives in secret and humans with special powers, known as Jujutsu Sorcerers are the only ones who can stop them.

Yuji Itadori, a teenager forced to become a Jujutsu Sorcerer due to “unforeseen” circumstances battles these malevolent curses as he and his fellow sorcerers uncover a sinister plot. 👹

3. Delicious in Dungeon

Based on Ryoko Kui’s manga, the series follows Laios, an adventurer, and his group in a fantasy world. 

When Laios and his group discovered that Laios’ sister Falin was devoured by a dragon, Laios and his group decided to do whatever it took to save her.

Any fantasy fan would know that dragons are mighty foes and can only beaten by powerful heroes. However our group here, they’re short on time, broke, and most importantly… starving.

In this fantasy-comedy series, join Laios and his group as they venture deeper into the depths of the dungeons and the bizarre encounters they face whilst seemingly trying to fill their bellies with whatever the dungeon has to provide. 😋

4. Mashle: Magic and Muscle

In a fantastical realm where social status hinges on magical prowess, Mash Burnedead stands out as an anomaly.

As a young man devoid of magical abilities, he lives a peaceful life alongside his adoptive father, Regro, but one day, his lack of magical prowess threatens his peace. 

To secure his place in society and earn back a peaceful life, Mash must defy the odds and attain the coveted title of “Divine Visionary” by being a top student at the magic school. 

Armed with determination and a lot of protein, Mash sets out to prove that sheer physical strength can triumph over magical powers. 💪

5. Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End

During their decade-long quest to defeat the Demon King, a party of heroes: The human hero Himmel, the human priest Heiter, the dwarf warrior Eisen, and the elven mage Frieren—forge bonds through adventures and battles, creating unforgettable memories. 

However, being an elf with a much longer lifespan, Frieren’s unique sense of time means that her experiences with her comrades are merely a fraction of her thousand-year life. 🧝

As she reflects on her journey, she vows to better understand humans and create genuine connections. 

Although the original journey has ended, a new tale is about to begin.

6. Shangri-La Frontier

Second-year high school student Rakuro Hizutome, also known by his in-game name, “Sunraku” is interested in only one thing: finding “shitty games”, games with glitches and faults, and beating them. 🎮

Being a “trash game hunter”, Rakuro would try out these ‘trash games” and try to beat them no matter their difficulty. 

One day, he tried out the best-selling VR game “Shangri-La Frontier”, the opposite of his usual choice of games.

A sequel to the cult-classic racing anime, Initial D, this anime takes place in the near future, where self-driving cars have largely become commonplace.

Though internal combustion engine cars have become somewhat obsolete, street racing has now become a spectacle.

Ryosuke Takahashi, (from the original Initial D series) founded the organisation called MFG to preserve the use of internal combustion engine cars by organising street races. 🚗

While its predecessor’s series features a Takumi Fujiwara, a teenager who learnt to race from delivering tofu, MF Ghost features Kanata Rivington, a young teenager who graduated from a prestigious racing school in the UK.

10. Castlevania: Nocturne

A sequel to the Castlevania animated series, Nocturne is also based on the Castlevania video game series by Konami.

Set in 1792 during the French Revolution, the series follows Richter Belmont, the vampire hunter, and his adoptive sister, Maria Renard.

As the number of vampires in the lands increases and the revolution rages on, Belmont and his allies must continue to make more allies and prevent the world-ending conspiracy by the vampires. 🧛
